Postscript Bureau Startup
After completing my apprenticeship in 1988 I bought the digital age to my parents pre-press company. Setting up a Postscript Bureau producing filmwork, printing plates and colour proofs. Being a new division of the business meant bringing in new clients, so I put my sales hat on and went out and got them too. After a few years we earned a reputation for being able to produce anything from a digital file where others could not, and, faster than any of our competitors. Even faster than some printers own in-house pre-press departments. This was only possible with efficient well thought out drag'n'drop digital workflows. Eventually technology overtook the industry in 2003 and I closed the Bureau.
